Never operated as a charter yacht, the present owner has cruised her from the Med, through the Red Sea and around the Indian Ocean for the past three plus years. Included are comprehensive spares, tools, charts and pilot books
A very, very thorough and comprehensive refit is just being completed. This has taken 12 months, has included the following:
·Complete replacement of the teak decks (circa 43 square meters), using best quality 24mm Burmese teak and full depth seams.
·A total professional re-paint to hull , topsides, coach roof and all superstructures, both masts, booms, poles and spreaders. International Professional Plus paint.
·Renewal of all ports, deadlights and hatches throughout.
·Renewal of the complete cap-rail in Burmese teak and including new purpose made 316 SS fairleads, scuppers and bollards.
This yacht is almost certainly now the finest Southern Ocean still afloat and in many respects in better than new condition. Many, many improvements and modifications have been incorporated during the refit and based directly on the owners’ first-hand experiences in 20,000 miles of sailing this fine yacht.
