Mike Simpson has substantial worldwide experience as a yacht broker and specialises in superyacht sales and construction. Based in Hong Kong since 1984, he has accumulated an extensive network and knowledge of shipyards, manufacturers and yacht construction that is unparalleled in the Asia market. During this time, Mike has handled many of the major new-build assignments and megayacht transactions in the region.
A keen sailor, Mike Simpson has spent many years cruising the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Atlantic and South China Sea. He is fluent in English, Chinese, French and German.

Mark Woodmansey is the Senior Broker for the Simpson Marine Group. An experienced broker based in Hong Kong since 2004 he has extensive experience with the Asian boating market and southern China in particular.
A RYA Yacht Master with thousands of miles of delivery and racing experience, he brings his passion for offshore sailing to the Asian boat market. With over 100 power boat and sail yacht transactions in Hong Kong and more from around the region he brings knowledge and experience to the process of purchasing and owning a yacht in Asia.
He has logged over 20,000 sea miles including ocean crossings, Caribbean and Mediterranean yachting as crew and captain, during which time he also sailed in Velsheda, the classic 'J-Class'.

Paul graduated from Southampton Maritime Institute, in the UK, in 1992 and has worked in the luxury yacht sales sector ever since. Formerly Sales Director for Sunseeker Sales Group and Sunseeker Brokerage in Europe and having operated his own international brokerage company for many years, Paul has 20 years of international yacht sales, sales management and brokerage experience.
Paul joined Simpson Marine in 2012 as Group Sales Manager for Azimut Grande, Brokerage and Superyachts and his extensive experience makes him ideally suited to managing these important divisions across Simpson Marine’s ten office Asian network. Paul’s focus is on attention to detail, professionalism and the customer experience, all of which are key fundamentals to Simpson Marine.
Having travelled extensively across Europe and Africa for business and pleasure over the last two decades, Paul and his family are now living in Hong Kong and are keen to experience as much of Asia as possible in the coming years.

Richard Allen has recently joined the Simpson Management Team as Group Sales Manager for Beneteau Sail, Beneteau Power, Lagoon Catamarans and CNB. Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Simpson Marine from the UK where he was the Beneteau Brand Manager for Ancasta International. With over 15 years of working with the Beneteau ship yards he will be able to help with all Beneteau and Lagoon matters. Richard also has a very good understanding of the leisure boat charter market and will be looking at new charter opportunities throughout South East Asia.
A very keen sailor Richard will be found racing most weekends on all types of yachts from beach catamarans to grand prix race boats and has competed at many of the world’s prestigious sailing regattas.

David grew up sailing dinghies and yachts before studying Maritime Leisure Management at Southampton Institute, UK. It was during this time that his passion for boats accelerated and he began power boating as well as regularly competing in Solent and other Regattas aboard a range of racing yachts from 31-52ft.
Having spent ten years working as a Yacht Broker working for Ancasta International Boat Sales on the River Hamble, David decided it was time for a fresh challenge in Asia. Being a full member of the Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents, David brings a wealth of Brokerage knowledge to Hong Kong along with in depth experience of Beneteau Yachts and various European Power Boat Brands.

Eric Chan grew up in Toronto, Canada. From a very early age he enjoyed outdoor activities, especially boating and wakeboarding.
He graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a degree in Architecture. After university, Eric worked for seven years at a China based electronic products manufacturing company where he gained sales and marketing experience.
His interest in becoming a yacht broker was influenced by his father who managed a respected shipyard in Aberdeen, Hong Kong for over half a century.

Having spent time in Germany as a child, he then finished his studies in Vancouver. Kenneth speaks Chinese, English, and German fluently.
After his return to Hong Kong in 2002, Kenneth worked exclusively in sales and marketing. Two years prior to joining Simpson Marine, Kenneth spent two years selling luxury goods and services including yacht charters in the Hong Kong area.
Kenneth's interest in yachting grew when his family bought an Azimut 47 in 2008, which he is still taking out every weekend during the summer. Kenneth's goal of mixing work with his hobby became a reality when he joined Simpson Marine.

After an earlier 12 year career in the retail wine industry leaving as regional manager, Mike moved into the yacht industry around 15 years ago. Since then, he has owned and run two different yacht sales & service companies in the UK and later moved to managing a large full service superyacht centre in the Middle East, then later working in China setting up 2 boat building factories. This has given him a wide experience of working with different yacht brands and the challenges of running an efficient service department while meeting demanding customer’s expectations.
Mike has had a lifelong passion for sailing and has logged over 100,000 miles to date in all types of vessel both sail and power, including 3 Atlantic Ocean crossings.
Most recently, he has served as Captain of SV Bessie Ellen, a 120ft (36 meter) sailing vessel, and at 107 year old, the last surviving West Country trading ketch!
He holds the highest RYA Yachtmaster Ocean qualification and a commercial MCA Master to 200 Tons unlimited qualification with full STCW95 and commercial endorsements.

Steve Mullaly is a Caterpillar trained technician with over 20 years experience with a wide range of commercial, pleasure and ancillary marine equipment.
Having built and sailed his own steel sailing sloop, he understands the demands and expectations of yacht owners - and the importance that under nautical conditions these demands be met.
Having traveled and lived in Asia for 15 years Steve has made this region his home.
