Mario Zanasi
Country Manager

Mario is an experienced senior broker and captain of both motor and sailing superyachts and has logged more than 100,000 sea miles worldwide.

Prior to joining Simpson Marine he was based in Monte Carlo where, as Managing Director of the Orion Auction House, he organized some of the most important auctions of collectible Ferraris.

Mario has a passion for sailing regattas and has competed in major races in the Mediterranean and Asia. He is also fluent in five languages which include Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Sergio Loiacono
Broker

Sergio Loiacono joined our team as a Yacht Sales Broker in 2008. Originally based in Langkawi he is now in Simpson’s Phuket office. He has vast experience in sail yacht charters and has sailed and worked extensively around the world including Egypt, Maldives, Panama, Portugal, Spain, Colombia, New Zealand, Fiji and Indonesia. Prior to joining the team, Sergio was a broker with the Ocean Marina in Pattaya.

Sergio is a RYA Yacht Master and is impressively fluent in five languages which include English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and has some knowledge of Kiswahili and modern Standard Arabic.

Greg Dick
Service Manager

Greg hails from NZ, and is a cabinet maker by trade with more than 10 years experience in boat building.

He has sailed more than 40,000 nautical miles, most notably an Atlantic crossing on Velsheda, a J-class ex-America's Cup yacht from the 1930s.

Before joining the Simpson Marine team Greg was service manager for the Norway Beneteau dealer, and has also run a sailing school and a charter and corporate racing series.

An avid racer having spent many nights perched on the rail, he has run the fore deck round the cans on Beneteaus, X yachts and J yachts to name but a few.

He has been with Simpson Marine since 2007 as service manager for Thailand.
