Julian Jesson
Taiwan Manager / Yacht Broker

Julian is a broker and passionate yachtsman who learnt to sail on the East Coast of England at the age of four. Prior to Joining Simpson Marine, Julian spent eight years in derivatives trading before building his own 20m carbon sailing catamaran. Julian maintains good relations with many of Taiwan's respected boat yards and has a passion for skiff sailing in the Penghu Islands.

Bernard Ting
Yacht Broker

Bernard has been an avid sailor since his early 20’s. Before joining Simpson Marine, he was an entrepreneur with successful businesses in Africa and China but decided that he wanted more out of life. He has finally found his niche again working with what he is passionate about. Bernard has owned several small sailing yachts, most recently a 32ft Nicholson in Ghana. Bernard is fluent in Mandarin and English.

Tony Chen

Tony has a passion for all nautical activities. Having grown up in the Penghu Islands, he and his brother were always connected with the sea through their family business.

An accomplished windsurfer and sailor, Tony plays a key role in supporting Penghu’s young sailors and advises the local government on yachting related issues. He regularly competes in The China Cup, The Straits Cup and The Keelung to Okinawa Regatta.

He practises what he preaches, and his own Beneteau is always kept in immaculate order.
