This 7th edition of the Singapore Yacht Show was certainly a busy one for Simpson Marine. We presented 10 yachts including 7 new and 3 pre-owned ones. Oceanis Yacht 62 and Gran Turismo 46 celebrated their Asian premieres, and Monte Carlo 6 was exhibited in Singapore for the first time as well.
The show was lively and well-attended, and we found new owners for the magnificent Lagoon 620 Essense version (upgraded interiors) and the clever and sporty Gran Turismo 46. Well done to their lucky owners for catching these keen opportunities!
We also presented two Monte Carlo Yachts, 76’ and 86’, with very distinctive layouts and finishes so our guests could see firsthand the customisation possibilities offered by the shipyard.
Steve Boerema from Viking Yachts USA was on hand to explain to visitors the unique advantages of Viking’s fast, muscular and durable sport fishing yachts, and also to discuss Viking’s motor yacht options.
And finally we offered guests a unique occasion to interact with Sanlorenzo shipyard representatives to discuss big, made-to-measure, yacht projects with clients. The Sanlorenzo lounge also hosted fine wine tastings organised by Sarment Wines, a bespoke wine distributor from France with various locations in Asia.
On the event side, we had our hands happily full whilst spending time with our guests at a Sanlorenzo cocktail evening, Monte Carlo Yachts Hawaiian-themed party and Beneteau Premieres Night featuring a LED water drums show with a lot of guest participation.
For our media friends, we organised a press conference featuring all our shipyards presentations, and announcements of new models and Asian development. Thank you to the shipyard executives from Sanlorenzo, Viking, Beneteau, Lagoon and MCY for their thoughtful and informative presentations.
