The flagship of Beneteau’s Power range, the Grand Trawler 62, celebrated its Asia Premiere at Beneteau Power Days in Marina Cove on 26–28 May. It was encouraging for the Simpson team to be able to host this major event amidst the COVID-19 challenges and we are delighted to be reconnected to our clients, partners and media once again after months of quiet times.
The Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 is the result of Beneteau’s collaboration with Massimo Gino, superyacht design experts Nauta Design, and Amadeo Migali of Micad. This model capitalises on the highly successful Swift Trawler range of practical, spacious boats with a considerable cruising range, and puts Beneteau’s experience in producing luxury boats to good use.
Designed for long-distance cruising this 62’ passage maker offers impressive autonomy of 1050 nautical miles. Her elegant yet functional layout, generous spaces, and her many areas which open up to the sea, favour introspection and offer opportunities for many leisure activities. Above all the design inspires the feeling of simply wanting to “get away from it all” and enjoy freedom at sea.
At this Beneteau Power Days event guests discovered the brand new and most successful models from Beneteau yachts and motorboats that are available in Hong Kong, including the Swift Trawler 44, Gran Turismo 41, Antares 11, and Flyer 9, together with a selection of Highfield tenders.
