Lagoon 40 and 50 unveiled in Cannes and already a success!

Announced a few months ago, and very much anticipated by Lagoon supporters, the Lagoons 40 and 50 were extremely well received at Cannes with non-stop visits from guests flying in from over from all around the world. These visiting guests were right to visit Cannes, as the sales at Lagoon Catamarans have exploded last year, reaching over 400 yearly launches, a first time and record breaking for Lagoon, the gem brand of Beneteau group.

The Lagoon 40 is available in three or four cabin layouts, and is a perfect entry level sailing catamaran for a family to cruise around the region. She has a nice cozy seating zone in the front and a comfortable aft cockpit directly connecting to a wide saloon once the doors are fully open.

The Lagoon 50 provides layouts in three to six-cabins, which is currently the most flexible distribution on the market. The flybridge provides two secure access points at the helm station to the large open cockpit. It also features abundant storage under most cockpit and flybridge spaces. VPLP positioned the mast step further aft, offering advantages including a shorter boom for easier manoeuvres and a main sail with a high aspect ratio, enabling the capture of a better airflow in the upper parts of the sail. Her saloon provides two separate but cohesive areas: a large galley that opens onto the cockpit on one side, and a slightly elevated lounge area for enhanced vision over the water featuring an extra large sofa covered by new fabrics and a movable dinner table.
