Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 Crowned as the Boat of the Year Displacement Class at the Annual European Powerboat Awards 2022

With the cancellation of the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2022, the annual European Powerboat Awards were held online and the Beneteau flagship model Grand Trawler was awarded the Powerboat of the Year award in the Displacement Category.

The panel of juries has recognised Grand Trawler 62’s good handling characteristic, long cruising ranges, and excellent liveability qualities, thereby emerging this model as the ultimate winner amongst her other tough competitors.

“The Grand Trawler 62 is full of ideas for future cruising motor yachts and well placed to become a trendsetter in its class. In addition, it convinces with excellent marks for driving characteristics, range and workmanship” – said the jury representative.

The Grand Trawler 62 is the result of BENETEAU’s collaboration with Massimo Gino (Nauta Design) and Amedeo Migali (MICAD) and capitalise on the highly successful Swift Trawler range of practical, spacious boats, with a considerable cruising range, and put Groupe Beneteau’s experience in producing luxury boats to good use. This particular yacht comes equipped with the new Seanapps technology for owner to track on boat’s condition, plan maintenance operations and access the integrated maintenance logbook anytime.
