Beneteau’s Swift Trawlers making waves in Hong Kong

One of the most popular ranges in the Beneteau Power line up, the Swift Trawler range is fast making waves in Hong Kong with four units sold into Hong Kong in the last year alone. Two ST44 models are already cruising on the Territory waters and two new ST35 models will join the fleet later this year, with the first set to arrive in Hong Kong this month. Later this year Beneteau will introduce a new model to this successful range; the new Swift Trawler 47 will make her debut at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival, held from 11-16 September.

The Swift Trawler range has been designed to be a capable coastal cruiser, ideal for one or two couples or a family, that is also affordable to buy and economical to operate. This means the models in this range have all of the basics, all beautifully finished, but have not been lavished with expensive extras. The range is designed to be easily handled by a cruising couple and can be easily sailed single-handed for deliveries. An ideal option for those looking to cruise as a couple or family, or even live aboard.

In the current issue of Fragrant Harbour, Hong Kong’s most established boating magazine, publisher David Robinson shares his experience from a sea trial on the ST44 writing: “The Swift Trawler is not only perfect for exploring coastal waters. With its semi displacement hull, it provides a fair turn of speed. How does 24 knots sounds to you? It is also great for entertaining.
