First Sanlorenzo 500EXP Sold to Asia by Simpson Marine Launched!

In the one of a kind background of Elite Days 2018, a weekend of celebrations for the 60^th anniversary of Sanlorenzo, the first unit of 500EXP OCEAN DREAMWALKER III has been launched with a Buddhist ceremony, in full respect for the traditions of the Chinese owner.

A customer-driven evolution of the 460EXP, it represents a perfect testimony to the predisposition for personalisation that has always characterised Sanlorenzo. Developed in close contact with the owner, the new 500EXP makes it possible to have a longer stern area, thus meeting a specific request of the client to provide a landing area for a helicopter, without losing the configuration of a superyacht explorer, ensuring the most authentic sense of adventure on the open sea, thanks also to the many “toys” and gadgets carried on board.

Measuring 47 metres and 500 gross tons, the 500Exp revolutionises the concept of expedition yacht, proposing itself as a luxury superyacht for trips to exotic and distant destinations as the vessel is ready to take a long journey around the world, in the spirit of leisure and comfort, without giving up on that touch of design and elegance that makes a Sanlorenzo yacht so desirable.

The yacht was sold by Simpson Marine in late 2015 and will reach Hong Kong at the end of this year, as part of round-the-world exploration with her proud owners. Before that happens, OCEAN DREAMWALKER III will be presented as a world premiere at Monaco Yacht Show 2018.
