Only Six Weeks Until The 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival

As usual during this time of the year, global shipyards are gearing up for the start of the European boat  show season starting with the Cannes Yachting Festival, held from 11 to 16 September in Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto in Cannes. The Show counts over 600 yachts with no less than 100 premieres at the show, making it a truly impressive sight! Last year 50,000 guests visited the show with 60% of them being international travelers, making this the perfect platform for showcase some of the yachting industry’s finest vessels. Yachts on display ranged from 2.1m up to 65m, ensuring plenty of choice for every use and budget. Out of the 600 yachts on display 103 were sail boats and 44 catamarans.

This year the Simpson Marine team will be on location inspecting new yachts and conducting sea trials so please let us know if you are attending and would like to visit a yacht of your choice.
