Sanlorenzo unveils the new SD96, winner of ‘Best Layout’ Award in Cannes

The new Sanlorenzo SD96 officially made her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September 2019 and has already proved herself as one of the most sought after yachts at the show, thanks to her unique and balanced design. Her stunning design, developed by the famous Interior female designer Patricia Urquiola, combines a balanced zen ambience with the impeccable detailing that Sanlorenzo is known for.

During the show the SD96 was the recipient of the ‘Best Layout’ award in the 24 to 30m category at the prestigious World Yacht Trophies Gala Dinner, held at the Carlton Beach on 14 September. The award honoured Sanlorenzo’s ability to reinterpret interior spaces in an innovative way.

As a new addition to Sanlorenzo’s renowned semi-displacement SD line, the SD96 spans three decks but, thanks to careful proportions, she is both elegant and also as light and manageable as a two-deck yacht. A careful balance between an industrial and artisan approach, and the use of different styles and furnishings make SD96’s interiors warm and welcoming yet with a modern sophisticated, elegant overall look.
