Lagoon 42 on display at first edition of Singapore Rendezvous

Together with Beneteau Asia, Simpson Marine made waves at the inaugural edition of the Singapore Rendezvous with the debut of the Lagoon 42 at Raffles Marina. The luxury lifestyle event was held in late October, and alongside the yachts on display also encompassed art, design, high fashion timepieces and jewelry, fine food and beverages, vintage cars and super cars, all on display in a beautiful nautical environment.

The Lagoon 42 was launched in January 2016 and has since sold over 110 units. Adding to her impressive sales track record, she is also an award winning model with accolades including ‘Best Multihull Sailing Yacht’ awarded at the Asia Boating Awards, and she recently won best in class of the Multihull category at the Southampton Boat Show’s Sailing Today Awards.

While keeping a family resemblance and retaining the main features of the latest-generation Lagoons, the 42 shows us a new path: unhurried evolution, a new “organic” approach in search of harmony between living space and sailor. The powerful and dynamic nature of this new model is emphasised by her new coachroof design, overall elegant silhouette, flowing curves and acceleration of the lines in the bows.
