Our dedicated Yacht Care service was created specifically to meet the needs of owners who are not able to spend regular time on board their yacht. Originally founded in Thailand, which remains the service centre for our Yacht Care programme, the popularity of this yacht maintenance service has meant we now have dedicated Yacht Care set ups in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China and Hong Kong too.
So why consider using a yacht maintenance service? Put simply, ensuring proper yacht maintenance and yacht care is a crucial part of smart yacht ownership. It makes sure your asset is kept in peak condition and, most importantly, is ready for you to arrive and enjoy at any time. Our dedicated on the ground service teams will keep a close eye on your yacht for you, undertaking any yacht care work as needed.
The Simpson Marine Yacht Care programme is a comprehensive service plan that can range from full management and concierge services, including airport pickups, champagne reception and regional visiting arrangements for owners, to more practical aspects such as regular technical checks, ongoing maintenance, repairs and spare parts supply, cleaning, preparing for charter/owner usage, refuelling, provisioning, crew providing, and more. Our Yacht Care operation is also a great complementary service to Yacht Charter Management programmes, where we manage yachts for charter operations within the Simpson Yacht Charter division.
Currently this service is mostly used in Thailand, which has become the epicentre of Asian cruising and chartering and where owners are happy to keep their yachts safely and well looked after. Our Thailand Yacht Care team has a fleet of more than 15 yachts under regular care and benefitting from our personalised yacht maintenance operation. We also have a wide and unrivalled network around Asia.
