The first Aquila 44 in Hong Kong has been handed over to happy owners and is now cruising around the islands enjoying family style weekends on the water, adding to the fast growing Hong Kong Aquila fleet. We are now eagerly awaiting two more new models – the Aquila 54 and Aquila 70 – which are expected to launch this Autumn. No doubt they will significantly stir up the motor catamaran market thanks to their performance focused hull by experts VPLP and luxurious interiors by Nauta.
Aquila Power Catamarans are getting more and more recognition here in Asia after proving a massive success story in the USA, where they are mostly sold for both charter and private use.
In case you missed it there was a great review of the Aquila 36, also based in Hong Kong, in the newly relaunched Asia-Pacific Boating magazine. A short video was made around Lantau and Soko islands where she took the editors of the magazine for a leisurely performance cruise.
