Fairline’s Targa 45 Open and GT confirmed rising stars of mid-size sports cruisers

Luxury British boatbuilder Fairline Yachts unveiled its Targa 45 GT at Boot Düsseldorf 2020 and has since enjoyed an overwhelming number of orders for this great weekend cruiser. The 45ft express cruiser expands on an ever-popular range, becoming the fourth model in the Targa GT line-up and the ninth GT since Fairline introduced the model line 15 years ago.

Available for 2020, the new Targa 45 GT provides a stylish and flexible layout synonymous with Fairline’s GT range, while building on previous models with some innovative features. This sleek cruiser has the same light, bright and luxurious feel that characterises the new generation of Fairline models, thanks to the brand’s partnership with celebrated Italian super-yacht designer Alberto Mancini.

The Targa 45 GT offers a spacious main deck saloon, powered hard-top roof and large patio doors, which suit northern and southern hemisphere boating. The tender garage for a Williams 280 MiniJet ensures versatility and functionality. In addition to the adaptable interior layout, the cockpit has been designed with multiple uses in mind, from spending time relaxing in the sun to entertaining friends and family.

This new yacht comes with a choice of a two or three cabin and two heads layout. The layout can be personalised further to have a mid or forward master cabin, depending on preference. With a base price of £564,000 excluding taxes, the Targa 45 GT is powered by the new twin Volvo IPS600 D6-440 engines, with the option to upgrade to Volvo’s new IPS650 D6-480 units.

For Open Sport boat enthusiasts, the Targa 45 comes also in an open version. As versatile as it is luxurious, this rejuvenated model of the popular Fairline classic beckons guests with its elegant features that evoke the glamour of the Riviera. Designer Alberto Mancini has employed his trademark style, ensuring the Targa 45 OPEN captures the essence that made its predecessor so popular.
