First Beneteau Gran Turismo 32 Sold in Asia, as Beneteau Day and Weekend Boats Soar in Popularity

It has been exciting times for Beneteau Power Boats lately in Asia, with most of the models from the Swift Trawler, Antares and Flyer ranges enjoying a rise in popularity among both experienced and first time boaters. 

Having recently welcomed new Gran Turismo 45 and 41 into Hong Kong, we are pleased to also have received an order for the first Gran Turismo 32 sold in Taiwan. This model is a great entry-level yacht for first-timers to the water and is a natural progression from the Flyer range and its flagship Flyer 10.

The Gran Turismo 32 shares the deck plan of the Flyer 10, with all her advantages – these include a full-beam main deck, side access through the windshield and Airstep hull technology. She meets the challenge of combining the spirit of a large open boat with that of a spacious hardtop, offering all the comfort of an express cruiser. Available in both outboard and inboard engine versions, the Gran Turismo 32 is the perfect introductory boat for new Gran Turismo owners.

We have also just witnessed the simultaneous sale of the Antares 8 into Thailand, Antares 9 into Hong Kong, and Antares 11 into Taiwan. All of these orders show the growing demand for smaller size family outboard weekenders from Beneteau. They are a great option for families and friends to enjoy local cruising and venture for longer overnight stays as well.

Going boating is a natural choice for us in Asia at this particular time when travelling is still restricted in some countries. Because many more people have experienced boating in their homelands recently, and have all thought it a wonderful experience and lifestyle, it’s no surprise we continue to see the numbers of new boaters on the rise.
