Since its inception in 1984, Simpson Marine, Asia’s biggest yacht sales and services company, has been a beacon of yachting excellence in the Asia-Pacific region. What began as a vision by founder Mike Simpson has evolved into a legacy spanning four decades of passion, expertise, and maritime adventure.
The Beginnings
In the early days, Simpson Marine set sail with a commitment to personalised service, integrity, and a deep love for the sea and adventure. From humble beginnings in Hong Kong, the company swiftly established itself as a trusted partner for yacht enthusiasts across Asia with over 3500 yachts delivered in and beyond Asia in the past 40 years.
The Evolution
Over the years, Simpson Marine’s regional coverage expanded and today comprises seven countries of Asia with 11 sales offices and 10 service points. Simpson Marine’s headquarters are based in Hong Kong with offices in Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.

A New Chapter
In 2024, Sanlorenzo. Group acquired Simpson Marine, preserving our heritage while propelling us toward global horizons. Sanlorenzo, a leading luxury yacht brand, recognised the expertise and excellence that Simpson Marine embodies and its strong heritage in Asia-Pacific and has taken ownership of the company from Mike Simpson, who has now deservedly retired and pursuing his new adventures.
Our Brands and Services:
After decades of a most successful partnership, Simpson Marine is no longer representing the yacht brands Beneteau and Lagoon however it remains totally committed to all its Beneteau and Lagoon boat owners with after sales assistance and post delivery services for these brands.
The Future
Propelled by the experience and commitment of the Sanlorenzo Group, Simpson Marine is set to further diversify its yacht brands portfolio while embarking on regional expansion within new destinations in Asia-Pacific.
