Simpson Marine China brings yachting lifestyle to the 7th Hainan Visun Rendezvous

We have just finished China’s most important yachting & lifestyle show and we wish to thank to all our attending guests for spending time with us at this past weekend.

Exhibiting MCY 70 and MCY 76 together with other 10 yachts from Beneteau Group including the Lagoon 620, Oceanis 55, MC6 and Barracuda 9, we were delighted to see the yachting lifestyle maintain its appeal high among Chinese buyers, and that our clients are growing more adventurous and start wanting to travel ever further with their boats.

At the show we also presented Sanlorenzo with a media highlight event and a press conference with Steve Leung, Asia’s award winning and widely recognized interior designer. We unveiled the first design sketches for the interiors of the superyacht Sanlorenzo SL106 Asia Edition. This is first time that Steve Leung Designers is working with a yacht builder on a yachting project and, since local superyacht buyers appreciate Asian-inspired layouts and designs for their yachts, we certainly believe that it won’t be the last. The press conference attracted more than 50 members of the media and was the main event on day one of the show.

The show’s second day saw late night opening parties and events held across the marina. We held our party onboard the MCY 70 and MCY 76 with music by DJ Elena and delicious cuisine by the Park Hyatt. We also enjoyed caviar tastings from Royal Caviar and a beautiful décor display from L’Objet.

Simpson Marine also had a separate display for the world’s best sport fishing yachts, Viking Yachts, and we partnered with a local fishing store to bring more flavour to the display by showcasing the latest trends in fishing equipment. Sanya is a great base for sportfishing, and we believe that Viking’s high-performance fleet will be in high demand in the near future.

This Hainan Rendezvous mark the 7^th edition for our Simpson Marine team and you will find us in Sanya again next year!
