The recent Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous held 6 to 9 December, saw an exciting four days of water activities in Phuket, Thailand. This year Simpson Marine’s Thailand team brought the Monte Carlo Yachts 70 to the event, and we were also joined by our charter star, the Lagoon 52 Blue Moon.
During the four-day event, we participated in many of the Rendezvous’ events. The thrilling King’s Cup Superyacht Experience allowed us to host some resort guests onboard the MCY 70 while watching the race over canapes and champagne. On day two, the Rendezvous Beach BBQ was a popular event amongst guests as we cruised up to Surin Phuket to watch the sunset at Pansea Beach.
As one of the crowd favourites at the show, the MCY 70 saw many yacht owners and media onboard during the yacht hop on day four and during the Kata Rocks Charter Season Opening Party. Kata Rocks was a fun-filled event for the Thailand team, and we cannot wait for the next edition in 2019.
