Simpson Marine Taiwan flies high at 2021 Penghu Regatta

The ninth edition of  Taiwan’s most prominent regatta, Penghu Regatta, was held from 3-7 October 2021 in the Penghu Islands, Taiwan’s western archipelago. There were 132 participants and 20 boats taking part, including five Beneteau yachts presented by Simpson Marine’ owners. These were the OC38.1, OC45, OC60, F40 and the F45.

Conditions were perfect for racing; there was a good breeze that allowed yachts to experience some enjoyable speeds with clear blue skies for great views. The race was divided into three sections: IRC and division A and B. The first day was the Round the Island race, and a First 40 (A Good Day) and First 45 (Freybe) placed as Champion and third in the IRC division. The Oceanis 45 (TanTan) and Oceanis 37 (Amelyssa) were first and second in the A division and B division.
