Aquila 36 Explores Hong Kong, Impressing Local Boating Community With Her Smart Features

Having arrived into Hong Kong in early Spring 2020, this first Aquila 36 is now busy exploring Hong Kong. Having undergone both technical and client sea trials, she is easily impressing fellow boaters with her smart looks, agile handling and great outdoor spaces.

The Aquila 36 is a perfect option for a family or two couples thanks to her many amenities and her two double cabins, both with an en suite and shower. This makes ideal as a weekend boat as well as a dream leisure day boat. She is able to be fitted for fishing or diving and boarding is simple with boarding doors on each side of the cockpit that give easy dock or tender access. One truly beneficial and surprising feature is the bow ladder that allows guests to get into shallow water or directly onto the shore when beaching – this feature is very rare and alluring for yachts of this size.

The single-level main deck stretches unbroken from transom to bow, offering a great open plan layout, 360 degree visibility and comfortable, natural flow from aft to bow lounging areas. The main living area is under the hardtop, with a dinette to port opposite the double-wide helm seat with flip-up bolsters for standing. The simple dash has a pair of Raymarine HybridTouch screens plus a VesselView 4-systems monitor, with the throttle/shifters on an outboard elbow ledge.
