Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 Yachting Soiree Brings Guests Together for a French-themed Night

Having recently arrived in Hong Kong, making its Asia Premiere, the Beneteau Grand Trawler 62 celebrated its official cruise mid-September at a Yachting Soiree that gathered together our media friends and partners for a French-inspired sunset cruise through Victoria Harbour.

The yacht showcased colourful iconic pop art pieces by French artists YAZ and Ceet FOUAD, curated by Amanda Wei Gallery (AWG), a long term partner of Simpson Marine.

As a special guest at the event, artist Ceet FOUAD exhibited some showcase pieces from his new solo exhibition, LOSt Chix, currently ongoing at AWG. The guests enjoyed live painting of the two special edition chicanos and the artist adorning them with custom illustrations.

Adding to a fun and colourful art experience, a Chandon Spritz Summer garden was set up on the flybridge, together with GT62 inspired cocktails “1000 miles” and “Go Beyond” while guests enjoyed also French musical bits by DJ Hallex.

Guests were impressed by the yacht’s voluminous interiors, achieved thanks to her displacement hull, with elegant, modern interiors by Italian design studio Nauta Design. Also impressive is her range of 1,000 nautical miles ranges at 9 knots, with a maximum speed of 20 knots should one wish to arrive faster to their evening anchorage after a day of leisurely cruising.
