Simpson Marine’s annual Lagoon Escapade, held between 15 – 16 December 2018, saw a great turnout. Many of our Beneteau and Lagoon owners spent their weekend with us as we enjoyed a scenic cruise through the waters of Phang Nga with the Monte Carlo Yachts 70 as the mother boat.
The stunning Lagoon fleet included a Lagoon 42, Lagoon 50, Lagoon 52, Lagoon 450, Beneteau Oceanis 48 and the Beneteau Gran Turismo 49. Departing from Ao Po Grand Marina after the captain’s brief was done with battle flags hoisted, the Simpson Marine Thailand team first sailed up to Koh Roi for an afternoon of leisure activities. After this the team continued on to Klong Muang Beach, Krabi, for a white-themed dinner for fellow Lagoon owners to socialise with each other. A special fire show and dinner by the beach was prepared as a surprise for the Lagoon owners – a very relaxing and convivial night indeed.
The second day of fun continued with Lagoon owners enjoying another afternoon of swimming, snorkelling, stand-up paddling, and SeaBob’s before a seafood lunch. As the Lagoon Escapade came to an end, the owners bid each other a fond farewell from the Ao Po Grand Marina. It was a fantastic event and we look forward to next year!
