Monte Carlo Yachts honoured with “100 Italian Excellences” Award for its achievements in the maritime sector

Monte Carlo Yachts has won yet another award for its achievements in the maritime sector. The “Golden Pinecone” for the “100 Italian Excellences” selection winners are awarded to those individuals, companies and institutions that have distinguished themselves for initiative, ability, research, competence and innovation across all aspects of society, from medical and scientific disciplines to revolutionary start-ups and artisanal manufacturers.

It was an honour for Monte Carlo Yachts to be a recipient of this prestigious award. Monte Carlo Yachts will now be featured in a namesake celebratory book by Italian publisher Riccardo dell’Anna.

The fourth edition of the “100 Italian Excellences” award ceremony took place in the prestigious Sala della Lupa of Palazzo Montecitorio, which houses the Italian Parliament, in Rome.

“In the year of our tenth anniversary, we are honoured to receive the “100 Italian Excellences” award here in Italy, our home,” says Fabrizio Iarrera, MCY Managing Director. “This award recognises Monte Carlo Yachts’ achievements over the past decade, and we are proud to represent ‘Made in Italy’ values and excellence around the globe.”

The“100 Italian Excellences” award is the latest of a long list of awards received by Monte Carlo Yachts. In 2018, Monte Carlo Yachts won Best Flybridge Yacht (MCY 96) at the Asia Boating Awards, and Best International Motor Yacht (MCY 96) at the Christofle Yacht Style Awards. Monte Carlo Yachts is also a finalist for awards in four categories at the 2019 Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. The winners, as determined by a panel of distinguished judges, will be unveiled during the Superyacht Design Symposium in Cortina, Italy in January 2019.

In Asia Monte Carlo Yachts have also been awarded multiple times for their beautiful yachts that stand out of from the crowd. Simpson Marine has just celebrated the Asian premiere of the MCY 96 at the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show where the yacht was very well received. We are also getting ready for the Thailand Yacht Show & Rendezvous where the MCY65 and MCY70 will be on display.
