New Antares 9 making waves in Asia with two already sold into Hong Kong

Recently presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new Antares 9 from Beneteau Power is already proving a popular choice with Asia buyers with two models now sold into Hong Kong. The Antares 9 is a direct replacement of the popular 8.8 model and comprises several interesting features including a smart cockpit sliding seat, that can either free up space to operate the engines when needed or slide back for guests to enjoy the full space of the cockpit. The forward access starboard has been enlarged and deepened to be more comfortable and safe. Inside are yet more amenities, with a comfortable dinette for two on the port side with a forward seat that can flip over and face either the dinette when at anchor or forward when driving. On the starboard side the galley’s look has been upgraded with a nicely hidden fridge and sleeker overall look. Other improvements include a large sliding side door next to the driver’s seat, allowing for better ventilation when cruising and when at anchor. The yacht has now four berths in two cabins with more privacy and spacious interiors. Sea trials have shown exceptional handling, easily achieving 24-25 knots of speed.
