Taiwan – Okinawa Regatta counts five Beneteau sail boats racing

The Taiwan – Okinawa Regatta began this year on 18 May, with the round island race in Keelung, Taiwan. As the pioneer of the Taiwan sailing culture Tony Chen, the Simpson Marine Country Manager in Taiwan, invited many Beneteau owners to join in the regatta. There were five Beneteau sailing boats competing in the race, including an Oceanis 38, two Oceanis 45’s, a First45, and an Oceanis 60, which made a beautiful line up on the sea. At the same time a Beneteau Antares 32 served as the committee boat of the race… clearly Beneteau dominated the sea! Tony Chen joined the OC60 crew and helped them and the owner compete the long race from Keelung to Okinawa. The team work and beautiful seas, as well as life on this stunning boat, made this a journey full of fun. Congratulation to Tony and the owner of the OC60 on winning second place in the regatta, and it was great to see more and more Taiwanese owners sailing.
