Aquila Holds Successful Annual Aquila Rendezvous

Aquila Power Catamarans recently hosted their third annual Aquila Owner Rendezvous in Florida, USA, in Captiva Island. Held at the South Seas Island Resort, the event welcomed a record breaking number of 17 Aquila Power Catamarans, 21 Owners, and 110 attendees.

Owners and their families were treated to an afternoon of fun-filled events – from a tequila tasting cocktail programme to a fun-filled raft up and a night of dining and dancing. The weekend was a highlight for all the Aquila Rendezvous participants.

Aquila has enjoyed great success in Asia since early 2018 when Simpson Marine took on the dealership as the brand’s exclusive representative in the region. Aquila’s appeal to Asian customers is due to a wide range of models with an alluring combination of excellent features. These include expansive living area volumes, good stability, smooth drive, easy handling, sleek modern designs, a strong quality of build, and high finishes along with many innovative features. Currently Aquila Catamarans cruise in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand and the fleet is regularly expanding.

As one of the best cruising grounds in the world, Asia has seen many Aquila Power Catamarans delivered to the region, operating in both private and charter use. With over 17,500 islands and archipelagos in Indonesia, its world renowned and proven attraction is synonymous with the increasing demand for yachts in the region.

In Hong Kong and Malaysia, Simpson Marine has already delivered a number of Aquila 44s. The rest of Asia will soon welcome a significant number of brand new Aquila Power Catamarans units, notably the Aquila 54 into Pattaya in Thailand, and several Aquila 36s into Singapore.
