Adventures on the water: need for speed – Nick Stratton

I own a Ballistic 7.8m RIB, which is based in Singapore. It is perfect for easy access to the water and rugged enough to explore the neighbouring islands off Singapore including Malaysia and the Riau Islands. One of my best cruising memories is from a recent trip to the Equator, accompanying 32 sailing yachts for the Neptune Regatta. It really is a privilege to be able to spend time out on the water on a boat. My top cruising recommendations are the Riau Islands, which are an adventurous destination and really opening up to cruising yachts. I also love the east coast of Malaysia, which is easily accessible with beautiful anchorages.
