Beneteau’s First 44, which premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, showcases its redefined performance, elegance, and comfort in a brand new video released by the shipyard.

As the natural link between the First 36 and First 53, the First 44 is designed to create unequalled pleasure with her generous sail plan which allows her to be lively and efficient in all conditions. Equipment and systems are geared towards racing, among which should be mentioned the foam non-skid surfaces that replace the teak on the cockpit sole, six well-placed winches and a conventional mainsail traveller. Subjected by their owners to the demands of offshore racing, the First 44 and the full series is the result of a rigorous development and perfection process, with the full benefit and support of Beneteau’s expertise and knowledge of the industry’s sharpest design and naval architecture minds.

In addition to its impressive sailing credentials, the First 44 is also ideal for social activities. Her three-cabin, two-head layout is an assemblage of quality materials interwoven into a masterful finish. In the salon the six-seater transverse table sits opposite the couch and navigation station; its positioning in relation to the mast eases the movement between galley and master stateroom, thereby accentuating the feeling of voluminous space.
