Race eight of Simpson Marine Taiwan Series completed

The South Penghu Island Race, the eighth in the Simpson Marine series, started from Dongji Island. This was the first time the event has been held in Ocean National Park. The first day’s race was to Wangan, with the second day finishing at Qimei and challenging the teams with strong lateral currents and changing winds.

Nine boats participated, with Rosy Sky 3 (Oceanis 60) winning all the championships. F ONE (Oceanis 51.1) placed third in the open group and second in the Beneteau group, while Tantan (Oceanis 45) was third in the Beneteau group. The prizegiving dinner was held in Qimei Nanhu Harbour.
