Simpson Marine Pattaya Expands with a New Sales Office and Sailing Academy & Charter Office Open

Our Thailand team is expanding and we are pleased to now be able to welcome you to our new rebranded offices in Pattaya, at Ocean Marina Yacht Club. You will be able to visit our brokerage team at the brand new sales office and our Sailing Academy and charter teams at their dedicated office located just opposite the main sales office.

With Pattaya establishing itself as a busy sales and charter centre and Thailand fully opening to international travellers and businesses early this year, we have observed a healthy and steady interest in both yacht purchases and charters that continue to grow as a post-pandemic trend. Marine tourism is coming back and our charter fleet comprising 15 exclusively managed Central Agency yachts (luxury catamarans, motor yachts and superyachts) and many other selections is now operating at full capacity. Tourists were longing to return to the Land of Smiles and enjoy its famous hospitality, amazing culture and beautiful nature, and now they are back enjoying all Thailand has to offer.

Aside of our office expansion, our teams have also expanded and we now offer a comprehensive range of services to our clients from Bangkok and North of Thailand through our Pattaya branch. Adding to the varied range of yachts stationed here, including the brand new Asia Premiere Fairline Squadron 68 and Thailand’s first Aquila 28 Molokai, the city will soon welcome another Asia premiere – the Aquila 54 yacht. A Sanlorenzo SL118 is also now exploring the Gulf of Thailand with a base in Ocean Marina Pattaya.

To help establish this local market from its grassroots, we are delighted to have finally launched Simpson Marine’s own Sailing Academy, which offers sailing courses of all levels starting with beginners ranging up to advanced and a professional racing curriculums. We have a team of  instructors and a fleet of eight Beneteau First Boats (F14, F18, F27) and everything is set up to welcome students for enrolment. The Thailand Yacht Show was the perfect occasion for the Academy to officially launch and we are happy to see many people applying for trial sailings with us. We are also presenting our programmes to local schools and welcoming all potential students to attend and experience try out days. That is how we can show both expat residents and local Thai people what a fantastic lifestyle can be had with sailing. Pattaya has an incomparable yachting circuit right on its doorstep.

With our expanded teams, new offices, new services and numerous yachts and toys now available for delivery, we are confident that a busy start to 2022, carrying from a positive 2021, will continue for the coming year and beyond. We look forward to seeing more new yachts and superyachts arriving in Thailand soon, bringing joy and freedom to their owners and their friends.
