Our Thailand team was delighted to welcome Asia’s first brand new Fairline Squadron 68 in Pattaya, just in time to debut at the 2022 Thailand Yacht Show where the yacht was displayed as part of Simpson Marine’s impressive nine yacht showcase.
The Fairline Squadron 68 was launched back in 2019, however in 2022 Fairline made some significant changes to this flagship flybridge model. These include a redesigned exterior and some big changes on the inside too, including more volume, brightness and an enhanced interior design. The most significant change on the outside is the hardtop, which is now much better integrated into the flybridge moulding.
The shipyard also changed the sunroof itself, replacing the slatted version with a canvas roof that fully retracts, allowing much better aperture. There are some tweaks to the window line, meaning the styling on the topsides is a little bit different, but one new key feature is a side door added on the starboard side deck. This means that you can ventilate the helm really easily, but it also means that those at the helm can get out onto the deck far more easily than having to walk out the back door and up onto the side deck. Other key features include a high-low bathing platform with a 500kg capacity, so it can carry a Williams 345 as a tender.
The yacht received a warm welcome at the Thailand Yacht Show and was delivered to proud new owners right after the event at a special celebration for friends and family that was marked with a scenic cruise around Pattaya’s islands. She will now be berthed at Ocean Marina Pattaya and enjoy her weekends cruising with her owners exploring the Gulf of Thailand and further afield.
At Simpson Marine we have secured another hull of this impressive new flagship that is available in October 2022, please contact us at email@example.com for specifications and delivery details.
