Beneteau and Lagoon Boats Displayed by Simpson Marine at Boating Sanya Show

Held from 13-17 April, the 2023 Boating Sanya & Sanya International Wine and Spirits Fair was officially launched at the newly built Sanya International Yacht Center. As a leading yacht dealer in Asia, Simpson Marine participated in the exhibition with the Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 54 and Antares 11 debuting in Hainan.

The Oceanis Yacht 54, younger sister of the Oceanis Yacht 60, embodies the innovation that has always been a hallmark of the Beneteau brand, while continuing to remain loyal to the Yacht range ethos with elegance, luxurious accommodations, and unrivalled performance. Lovely contemporary artworks were also displayed on board during the Sanya Boat Show. Theis fusion of nautical life and modern art brought a touch of fun to the simple elegant interior of this sailing boat.

With a total length of 11 metres, the Beneteau Antares 11 is the flagship model of the Antares outboard series, which is the best representative of small family cruising boats. This modern design motor yacht provides comfort, ample space, high safety and strong seaworthiness, representing the innovation of Beneteau outboard motorboats.

In addition, another popular star, the Lagoon 46, also was presented at the exhibition, where people appreciated the qualities of the world’s top catamaran.

During the exhibition, Simpson Marine also hosted a captains training session for the Raymarine navigation system in collaboration with Sunshine Marine, indicating Simpson Marine‘s comprehensive support for China’s yacht industry.

In the 2022 China Yacht Awards Ceremony held on 14 April, brands represented by Simpson Marine won multiple awards, proving their calibre. Started in 2018, the China Yacht Awards is an annual event organised by the industry media “Oceanway”. A total of nearly 120 yacht models competed in 13 categories for 49 awards.

The Sanlorenzo 62Steel won the Best Superyacht (40-70m); Sanlorenzo SP110 won the Best Layout (30-40m superyacht). The Lagoon 51 catamaran, newly launched in 2022, won the Best Catamaran of the Year. The Lagoon SIXTY 7 won the Best Power Catamaran of the Year Award and the Best Interior Design Award for Power Catamaran. Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 60 won the Best Exterior Design for Monohull Sailing Yachts of 50 feet and above, and the Beneteau First 44 won the title of Best Monohull Sailing Yacht of the Year (50 feet below).
