Beneteau has stepped into the interconnected digital age of smart boats with their new technology SEANAPPS. The SEANAPPS application features a smart box installed on to boats that allows owners a much easier way to oversee the management and maintenance needs of their Beneteau yacht.
Beneteau owners will be able to access and check the main functions of their boat such as fuel level, water level, and battery life, as well as the information about its environment such as GPS position, wind and depth through SEANAPPS in just a few clicks. The provision of ease and accuracy of data will assist owners in streamlining and safeguarding their yacht’s maintenance requirements
Other SEANAPPs functionalities include:
SEANAPP technology is currently available on First Yacht 53, Oceanis Yacht 54, Oceanis Yacht 62, the Grand Trawler 62, the Swift Trawler 41 and the Swift Trawler 35 models, all fitted out as standard with a telemetry pack. Existing Beneteau owners will be pleased to know that a retrofit option to your current boat with this new system is also available. The retrofit will require less than two hours and can be done on all Beneteau boats, so is well worth considering for our current owners wanting to access to this additional level of centralised control.
