Beneteau’s First 36 Wins “European Yacht of the Year” at Boot Düsseldorf

From 21 to 29 January, the world’s largest indoor boat show took place at the Messe Düsseldorf showground, with over 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries displaying their wares. A major highlight of the Boot Düsseldorf show is the presentation of the “European Yacht of the Year” awards for sailing yachts and “Powerboat of the Year” awards for motorboats. Now in its 20th year, the European Yacht of the Year gala event was hosted on the opening night of the Boot Düsseldorf Boat Show on 21 January 2023.

We were very proud that Beneteau’s First 36 took home the European Yacht of the Year award in the Best Performance Cruiser category, adding to her already long list of awards. The jury panel recognised the First 36’s brilliant concept design, build quality and engineering, crowning her as the ultimate winner amongst her other tough competitors.
