First Beneteau First Yacht 53 and Lagoon Sixty 7 in Asia sold into Taiwan

Simpson Marine is delighted to share the news that two brand new yacht models introduced this year at the Cannes Yachting Festival – the Beneteau First Yacht 53 and the new Lagoon Sixty 7 motoryacht – have been sold into Taiwan as the first Asia slots.

Highly anticipated by the sailing community, the Beneteau First Yacht 53 is a top-end sailing yacht that marries luxury and performance, making her comfortable and easy to move around. Two stars aligned in her creation: Roberto Biscontini, of America’s Cup fame, developed the hull design, and Lorenzo Argento was responsible for the interior and exterior design. Designed for sailing purists, with high expectations of excitement at the helm and life at sea, the First Yacht 53 boasts strong features making her above all…very much a First! Featuring a full plumb bow and a maximum beam further aft, the twin rudders give the perfect feedback to control the highly responsive hull. The 2.5m or 3m draught (with lead bulb), as well as an optional carbon mast, give the First Yacht 53 a competitive advantage, allowing her to clock up miles quickly.

Our Asia slot will arrive in Hong Kong in May 2020 before sailing to her final destination in Taiwan. Enquire here to receive more information on this stunning super sailor.

Another head turner at the Cannes Yachting Festival, presented by Lagoon Catamarans, was the new motoryacht Lagoon Sixty 7 that impressed visitors with her Bordeaux red hulls and vast living spaces. The yacht is a true “little sister” of the flagship Seventy 8 and impresses with massive exterior decks and easy flow, interior brightness and open connected areas.

The first Asia slot of the Lagoon Sixty 7 will arrive in Hong Kong in July 2020 and shortly afterwards will head to Taiwan. To enquire about this superb new vessel and the full range of Lagoon catamarans, contact us today.
