Nautor Swan will unveil three eagerly awaited models at the Cannes Yachting Festival : the Swan 88 and ClubSwan 43 in Port Canto, and Swan Arrow in Port Vieux. These new additions showcase Nautor Swan’s unwavering commitment to innovation, performance, and elegant design, underscoring their position as leaders in high-performance sailing yachts.
Alongside these premiere models, Nautor Swan will display the Swan 55 and Swan 58, both perfect for family cruising and long-distance sailing. Visitors to the Cannes Yachting Festival will find the Swan 88, in her electric version, in Port Canto. Powered by a fully integrated Deep Blue system by Torqeedo, the Swan 88 is an evolution of the brand’s previous yachts, incorporating unique innovations. The elegant design results from a collaboration between German Frers, Misa Poggi, and Lucio Micheletti. The Swan 88 has feminine lines and offers a superyacht experience on an efficient and easy-to-maintain platform.
The model was first revealed in December 2021 at a virtual press conference hosted by yard chief executive Giovanni Pomati. “Swan 88 is an entry size to the world of Maxi,” Pomati said at the time. “We wanted to build a superyacht with an efficient platform, in terms of management costs and ease of getting charter certifications.”
Described as a “no-compromise cruiser with a racer soul,” the Swan 88 has a draught of four metres, with options for a shallow-draught, telescopic, and performance keel. The yacht is designed for comfort, with a maximum heeling angle of 20 degrees, and features “feminine exterior lines” penned by veteran Swan designer German Frers. Key features include a deck split into four distinctive areas, with the first three located aft and the fourth forward. Aft, the guest cockpit features a new coachroof design with an integrated sprayhood, bimini, and modular benches that can be arranged in flexible configurations, from lounging to formal dining.
Identified as the perfect crossover, the ClubSwan 43 sets a new standard for sailing excellence. Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, with interior design by Micheletti + Partners, it represents a complete racer capable of competing in the most important and engaging races around the world, with the option for a sporty-cruising experience.
The ClubSwan 43 seamlessly integrates advanced solutions with elegant design features to offer a vessel that excels in every aspect of sailing. From its sleek lines and aerodynamic profile to its innovative rigging and handling, every detail of the ClubSwan 43 has been meticulously crafted for performance and to inspire confidence in any sailing conditions.
Moreover, the ClubSwan 43 has been developed as a One Design package, equipped with a standard One Design keel that can be optimised to compete on ORC circuits. The OD sail plan includes a powerful square-top mainsail allowing for agile and precise performance. The interiors are designed with such flexibility that the client can remove 80% of the interior for a race and reinstall it afterwards to return to cruising comfort. Thanks to Nautor’s expertise in this sector, which includes a professionally managed class, the new ClubSwan 43 yacht will be able to shine at the exclusive Swan One Design Circuits, such as The Nations League and the Swan One Design Worlds.
In Port Vieux, Swan Arrow, the largest Nautor Swan motor yacht model, will make her international debut. She is a 75-foot boat designed according to the Swan iconic DNA. She has a 23-metre ‘walkaround’ design offering the features of a superyacht packaged in a smaller size. With the hull conceived to offer fine performance with a sustainable approach in terms of fuel consumption, one of the main innovations is the opening platform to create a beach area of approximately 50 square metres, not floating directly on the water but elevated thanks to powered side openings, altogether creating a real terrace on the sea. The cockpit roof can be opened or closed depending on the climate, and glass doors can pivot and slide to allow in even more air when needed.
The Swan Arrow will be accompanied by Swan Shadow, the 42’ inboard motor yacht, launched last year and designed by Jarkko Jamsen.
