Nautor Swan Launches Swan Arrow and Swan 88 in Cannes

During the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, Nautor Swan unveiled its latest marvels, the Swan Arrow and the Swan 88. This year’s festival was particularly special with a record number of new launches and an emphasis on sustainable yachting solutions. Swan’s display included a range of their finest models, from the classic Swan 55 to the impressive Swan 98.

Swan Arrow: The largest motor yacht by Swan

The Swan Arrow made its debut to much anticipation. She showcases a design focused on performance and efficiency. The streamlined hull and advanced sailing technology are the results of extensive research and development, aimed at delivering speed and agility on the water.

With a length of 23.2 metres, she is the largest motor yacht produced by the Finnish shipyard to date. Its walk-around design and open-plan layout accentuate a seamless indoor-outdoor living space, while the transformable stern doubles as a 50-square-foot beach club. Performance-wise, the yacht offers an optional three-engine configuration, reaching up to 40 knots, alongside the standard twin Volvo Penta IPS 1.350 D13 engines. The interior is crafted for comfort, housing three staterooms with private heads, and a full-beam master suite, complemented by a crew cabin for two.

The Swan 88: Swan’s first hybrid electric yacht

Equally impressive was the launch of the Swan 88. This latest addition to the Swan’s Maxi line stood out with its eco-friendly hybrid propulsion system, combining electric and conventional power for a quieter, cleaner sailing experience. The Swan 88, named DreamCatcher, made its worldwide debut at the festival, showcasing its innovative diesel-electric propulsion in collaboration with Torqeedo. She features a sophisticated design with twin rudders and a performance-balanced hull. The interiors, crafted by Misa Poggi, offer customisable cabin arrangements within its spacious layout. The deck layout caters to both racing and cruising preferences, with a convertible aft deck for leisure activities.

The Swan 88 represents a significant leap forward in sustainable yachting, providing a more environmentally conscious option without sacrificing the elegance and luxury that Swan is known for.
