Nautor Swan’s new flagship, the Swan 128, is preparing to make its world premiere at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show in late September marking a significant milestone for the Finnish shipyard’s Maxi range. The launch of this highly anticipated sailing yacht will showcase the best of Swan’s cutting-edge design, performance capabilities and customisation potential, wrapped in a commanding 39-metre form.
Designed for long-range cruising and spirited performance sailing, the Swan 128, stands out with a multifunctional deck layout, expansive living spaces and the attention to detail expected in the superyacht sector. The yacht’s three-part deck includes a convivial social cockpit, a purpose-designed helm station, and a spectacular aft beach club that opens directly onto the sea. The transom folds down to reveal a 4.5 meter garage, capable of housing a small tender, offering both convenience and easy access to the water.
Inside, the saloon is a signature highlight, offering triple-tier natural lighting and transitioning seamlessly into a flexible lounge and dining space. The yacht’s forward master suite occupies the entire foreship, offering an unparalleled canvas for personalisation, while guest cabins can be configured for singles, doubles or Pullman berths. Aft, the crew quarters and technical areas have been smartly arranged for optimal service without interrupting the guest experience.
Performance remains at the heart of the Swan 128’s DNA. A powerful sail plan totaling 715-square metres and twin rudders deliver agile, fingertip control and comfort, even at speed. Thanks to her advanced hull design, the yacht heels to an optimal angle of just 20 degrees, combining thrilling sailing experiences with onboard luxury.
As the first hull nears completion, a second Swan 128 is already under construction — a testament to the strong demand for large sailing yachts that blend performance pedigree with superyacht-level comfort. Its premiere in Monaco will be a symbolic moment not just for Nautor Swan, but for the evolution of the Maxi sailing category itself.
The Swan 128 joins a growing family of Maxi Swans, including the Swan 88, Swan 98, and 108.
