Phuket Team secures Oceanis 45 to play role in Mechanic: Resurrection

Sun, sand and sea – always a perfect combination for a movie. Hence when the producers of now released Hollywood movie – Mechanic: Resurrection, were looking for a yacht to film in Thailand, Beneteau suggested Simpson Marine be involved. The action scenes to be shot on boars required plenty of space and an open deck plan. Thanks to Sergio Loiacono, Country Manager of Thailand we found the perfect yacht in Tida Waree, an Oceanis 54 belonging to a client who kindly agreed to allow the filming to take place on board. The enthusiastic owner can now add having Jason Statham and Jessica Alba on board his yacht to his repertoire of sailing stories.
