Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific began 2025 with a strong presence at the Thailand International Boat Show (TIBS), held from 9 to 12 January in the tropical haven of Phuket. The event marked the much-anticipated Thailand premieres of three notable yacht models: the Sanlorenzo SL90A, Bluegame BGX63, and Bluegame BG42.
The Sanlorenzo SL90A, part of the shipyard’s innovative asymmetric range, captivated attendees with its groundbreaking design. Featuring a full-beam configuration on the port side and an unobstructed side deck to starboard, the SL90A offers a unique approach to space utilisation, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. The model, with its spacious main-deck owner’s cabin and sleek profile, embodies Sanlorenzo’s ethos of bespoke craftsmanship and timeless elegance.
The design’s emphasis on seamless indoor-outdoor living and panoramic views makes it ideal for exploring Asia’s scenic cruising grounds, such as Phuket’s stunning islands or Phang Nga Bay’s towering karsts. Its shallow draft also ensures access to Asia’s more secluded anchorages, adding an extra layer of versatility to this elegant yacht.
Joining the SL90A at the show were two Bluegame models: the BGX63 and BG42. Known for pushing the boundaries of yacht design, Bluegame showcased its signature style of combining performance, functionality, and luxury. The BGX63, with its open-plan layout, expansive aft deck, and direct connection to the sea creates an unmatched experience for owners who wish to immerse themselves in Asia’s clear, warm waters. With a focus on outdoor living, this model is perfectly suited for tropical destinations like the Andaman Sea or the Philippines’ pristine archipelagos. In addition, its long cruising range is well-suited for owners planning extended journeys through the region’s island chains.
The sporty and versatile BG42 also made its Thailand debut, appealing to more adventurous yachtsmen. Designed for easy manoeuvrability and equipped with impressive performance capabilities, the BG42 is ideal for exploring Asia’s intricate coastlines, such as Thailand’s Phang Nga Bay or Vietnam’s unspoiled shores. Its smaller size also makes it the perfect choice for weekend getaways, with the ability to access shallow waters and hidden coves that are otherwise inaccessible.
The Thailand International Boat Show provided an ideal setting to showcase the diversity and innovation of the Sanlorenzo and Bluegame fleets. With Phuket’s stunning waters as a backdrop, these models highlighted the brands’ commitment to redefining yachting experiences and meeting the demands of discerning owners across the Asia-Pacific region.
As Sanlorenzo and Bluegame continue to expand their presence in Asia-Pacific, their participation at TIBS underscores the growing interest in yachting in this region. These premieres mark the beginning of an exciting year, with more launches, events, and unforgettable experiences planned for 2025.
