Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific is proud to announce the progressive expansion of its service division, reinforcing its commitment to delivering unparalleled yacht services across the region. This strategic growth is marked by the addition of highly skilled professionals and the enhancement of its offering, meaning that Sanlorenzo yacht owners always receive the best levels of care and expertise. Wherever you are in your yacht ownership journey, Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific is your trusted partner, helping you maximise the value of your cherished asset while ensuring that every stage – from the initial order to the final sale – is smooth and enjoyable.
Team Expansion
Every Simpson Marine team member has a unique background in the marine industry, ranging from shipbuilding to engineering experience. Each individual contributes and shares their knowledge, ensuring the highest quality across all services offered.
New team members are constantly on projects with senior engineers, sharing passion and knowledge daily. Each project involves different skills and professionals, exposing the team to new challenges and learning opportunities. Additionally, constant contact with shipyards, suppliers and innovators keeps the team updated on innovations, enabling them to adapt easily to any new marine engineering features.
Enhanced Service Offerings
The expanded team is equipped to offer a wide range of services, including routine maintenance, refitting, and bespoke customisation, but it doesn’t end here. With facilities across 10 markets in APAC and the spirit that puts after sales at a priority, Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific ensures that every yacht under its care is maintained to the highest standards. “We offer surveys throughout the entire process, not only to guarantee build quality – which, with brands such as Sanlorenzo, is never a concern – but also to ensure that every detail our clients care about is handled with precision,” says Marko Stojanovic, Head of Service for North-East Asia at Simpson Marine.
One of the recent enhancements includes the introduction of the SAILADV monitoring system. This allows owners, captains, and service points to check and monitor the yacht from anywhere. It provides real-time information on the yacht’s location, fuel levels, battery voltages, alarms, and more, similar to an aircraft’s “black box.” Furthermore, bespoke customization services have seen successful projects such as whole yacht repainting, structural repairs, and engine replacements, showcasing the ability to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each vessel.
Elevating Yacht Ownership Standards
At Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific, owning a yacht is not just about the vessel itself, but also about the experience it provides. The enhanced service division is dedicated to ensuring that every aspect of yacht ownership is seamless and enjoyable.
To maintain the highest standards of service quality, each of the 10 dedicated service points has a dedicated senior service coordinator or senior technician who oversees and confirms each project completed by the technicians. The team is split in two geographic areas with North-East Asia supervised by Marko Stojanovic and South-East Asia under care of Sebastien Caveriviere. Close collaboration with all captains and crew ensures daily feedback, continuously improving services. Beyond these 10 dedicated service points, Simpson Marine has forged strong ties with local contractors and brand representatives. Success stories from clients highlight the positive impact this has, with sales teams often receiving compliments on their work.
Looking Ahead
As the service division continues to grow, Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific remains focused on providing the highest level of service to its clients. The recent team expansion, structural reorganisation and boosted service offerings are just the beginning of an ongoing commitment to excellence and improving efficiency in managing all matters related to yachts and their ongoing operations at sea.
Looking to the future, there is a clear roadmap to 2030, with plans to develop service points in regions such as Japan, Australia, and Vietnam. New innovations and green engineering are on the horizon, with sustainability initiatives such as replacing old vehicles with hybrid cars, recycling metals, batteries, and oils, and using stairs instead of lifts whenever possible.
