Sanlorenzo, Lissoni & Partners and Nautor Swan Present Wind Labyrinth at Milan Design Week

At Milan Design Week 2025, Sanlorenzo, in collaboration with Lissoni & Partners and Nautor Swan, presented their joint project – Wind Labyrinth at the historic architecture of the 18th-century Courtyard of the University of Milan, from 7 – 17 April. This immersive installation, curated by Piero Lissoni, Artistic Director of Sanlorenzo, was part of the exhibition-event Interni Cre-Action.

The Wind Labyrinth installation celebrated the essence of sailing through a unique sensory experience. It featured a labyrinth of sails, mainsails, and jib sails, reclaimed through an upcycling process, suspended in a harmonious dialogue between lightness and structure. This setup evoked the continuous movement of the sea, transporting visitors into a dreamlike dimension where the contrast of light and shadow, transparency, and fluidity of the sails created an ethereal and sophisticated atmosphere.

The labyrinth of sails served as a metaphor for the sea as a boundless space, where the wind guides exploration and defines the journey. This installation spotlighted the world of Nautor Swan, a symbol of elegance and sailing performance, which has recently become part of Sanlorenzo. It highlighted the ability to blend design, technology, and sustainability in a synthesis of style and innovation.

Wind Labyrinth is among the 12 shortlisted projects for the Fuorisalone Award 2025. The award selects and promotes the most memorable installations showcased in Milan, alongside content, projects, and activities of interest for the international design community.
