Sanlorenzo SL86A Official Video Unveiled, First Unit in Asia to Set Sail for Hong Kong

With much anticipation, Sanlorenzo has released the official video of the Sanlorenzo SL86A, a model first unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024. The first unit of the model in Asia is currently en route to Hong Kong, where it will be showcased to yacht enthusiasts across Asia-Pacific.

New Evolution of the Asymmetric Concept

The Sanlorenzo SL86A is a 26.82-metre motor yacht designed by Officina Italiana Design. Like other models in the Asymmetric range, she features the asymmetric layout that eliminates one of the two external walkway, which enhances interior space and provides a strong connection to the sea. A particularly remarkable feature is the invisible stairs at the stern. By cleverly concealing these stairs, the design maintains the harmony of the stern layout and introduces an element of transparency. This ensures that those relaxing in the cockpit and those enjoying a swim at the stern remain connected, making the most of the available space. The staircase elegantly reveals itself by rotating and opening the hatch, adding a touch of magic to the yacht’s design.

Unmatched Performance and Efficiency

The SL86A is powered by two MTU diesel engines, allowing it to reach a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots, with a maximum cruising range of 355 nautical miles at 25 knots.

One of the standout features of the SL86A is its eco-friendly design. The yacht incorporates advanced technologies to reduce its environmental impact, including efficient fuel consumption and optimised hull design to minimise drag and improve performance, along with the use of sustainable materials in its construction.

Exceptional Comfort and Accommodation

The SL86A can accommodate up to eight guests in four staterooms, with three crew members on board. The yacht’s design includes a teak deck, a GRP hull, and a GRP superstructure. Inside the SL86A, the effect of the asymmetric design is even more pronounced.

Full-height walls of glass on each side bring in the surroundings, making guests feel more united with the sea by letting them stand practically at the edge of the yacht. The interior layout separates the dining area from the lounge area, ensuring relaxation is the order of the day. The décor, tailored by Zuccon International Project, prioritises natural woods and stones, creating a soothing atmosphere. Recycled and recyclable materials appear throughout, emphasising a deeper connection with the earth.
