Sanlorenzo SX88 Arrives at Singapore’s One 15 Marina, Now Available for Exclusive Visits

Sanlorenzo’s iconic cross-over yacht, the SX88, has officially made her way to Singapore’s One 15 Marina and will berth there for another few weeks, right in front of the Simpson Marine/ Sanlorenzo Asia SEA flagship office where we welcome customers to visit us and discuss their yachting projects.

At 27 metres, the award-winning SX88 is dubbed as a “social” yacht which offers a new way to live life on board. This is namely thanks to its amazing aft platform, storing all the water toys and tenders one might wish for, and the bright, luminous interiors with seamlessly integrated outdoor decks.

The SX88 offers wide open spaces and large glass windows that assure an effective and optimised relationship between the interior and exterior. Her high, seaworthy bow lowers toward the stern, streamlining all the mass of the yacht, but at the same time giving her impressive abilities as an all-weather vessel. Similar to a large superyacht design, the SX88 offers a helm station on the upper deck and the fly bridge, with a smart protection windshield system that can be opened or closed at the touch of a button.

The SX88 has generous spaces and offers different layouts to create a true open loft that suits the individual owner’s taste. The forward area of the main deck is fully equipped and furnished to offer a relaxing and functional living space, with double L-shaped sofas with coffee tables and an extended sunbathing surface, and the possibility to directly connect with the interior.

The SX88’s construction process is based on eco-friendly procedures and materials developed by Sanlorenzo, and the shipyard’s commitment to sustainability keeps evolving with their recent announcements including an exclusive collaboration with Siemens Energy on “green” propulsion options. On this SX88, thanks to the combination of high-power lithium batteries and new lighting technologies, energy management systems, efficient thermal insulation and window glass, the SX88 can use all systems on board for four to eight hours at “zero emissions”. Due to all these eco-friendly features, Rina awarded the SX88 with the Green Class.

The arrival of the SX88 marks a strong prelude to the much-anticipated arrival of the Bluegame BGX70 to the One 15 Marina in December. Private viewings for both yachts are available upon request at singapore@simpsonmarine.com
