Sanlorenzo to stage two world premieres at Cannes Yachting Festival – SP92 & SL86A

The Cannes Yachting Festival one of the most important yachting events, draws yacht owners and customers from around the world. This year’s Yachting Festival promises to be an extraordinary event as Sanlorenzo will premiere two new models: the second model in the Smart Performance range, the SP92; and the new model in the planning range with the iconic Asymmetric design, SL86A.

Many other Sanlorenzo models – SL120A, SL96A, SD118, SD90, SP110, SX100, SX88, SX76 – will bear witness of the unveiling of the SP92 and SL86A. The Italian builder has a total of 10 yachts on display.

The SP92 represents a bold step in yacht design, merging sleek aesthetics with advanced technology. As the second model in Sanlorenzo’s Smart Performance (SP) line, following the acclaimed SP110, the SP92 offers an exhilarating on-water experience. The Smart Performance line focuses on maximising efficiency, speed, and sustainability without compromising luxury.

The SP92 is the entry model in the Smart Performance line, aimed at those looking for a combination of style and performance. Similar to her larger sister, the SP110, the new model will feature water jet propulsion, but instead of three engines, there will be twin 2000 hp MAN V12 engines, capable of reaching a top speed of up to 40 knots. With advanced materials and cutting-edge engineering, the SP92 promises a thrilling and eco-conscious yachting experience. It embodies the Sanlorenzo view, in which its founding principles of sustainability, comfort and exclusivity converge.

The SL86A will be the new entry-level yacht in Sanlorenzo’s Asymmetric range, showcasing how innovative use of space enhances the yachting experience. Its planing hull and GRP superstructure allow for an extended saloon area due to the absence of the port side deck. This design ensures better sea views, separates the dining area, and seamlessly unites the saloon with the cockpit lounge via sliding glass doors. The aft section on the SL86A has also been reconfigured, and can now be a garage not only for a tender but a jet ski, too.
