The success of Sanlorenzo‘s new asymmetrical models has not been long in coming and, after the overwhelming acclaim received on the occasion of their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, their success is confirmed by the double victory at the World Yachts Trophies 2021: SL120A and SL90A triumphed in their own categories receiving respectively the prizes for “Best Layout” and “Best innovation”, awarded by the international jury during the award ceremony.
In 2018 Sanlorenzo launched its first asymmetrical model, the SL102A, revolutionising the canonical layout of a yacht and giving additional space to the interiors and allowing direct contact with the sea.
The concept of the asymmetrical line, which was born from an original idea of Chris Bangle, the brilliant car designer, and interpreted by Bernardo Zuccon, designer of the exterior lines, together with Sanlorenzo, now evolve and find new design declinations in the new models of the range.
At the same time, Sanlorenzo also won the World Superyacht Awards, in the “semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts 30m to 39.9m” category with the SX112 crossover model, which won the award thanks to its innovative technological solutions, such as the spacious 90-msq beach area at the stern, which is extremely flexible and expandable via the two side terraces and the connection with the internal gym, a choice that gives the project new living perspectives and possibilities.
