Sanlorenzo’s Massimo Perotti awarded with Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour title by the Italian President

Sincere congratulations to Massimo Perotti, the Chairman of Sanlorenzo, who was recently appointed Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour by the Italian Reppublic President Sergio Mattarella.

Sanlorenzo workforce and employees not only avoided employment cuts and the use of social safety nets during Italy’s weak economics years, but the Sanlorenzo workers reached an increased productivity bonus of + 40% this year, in line with the 2016 turnover growth.

Thanks to their tailor-made approach to yacht construction and the highest build quality, the company enjoys unquestioned respect and prestige among mature and connoisseur buyers in Europe and the US and their order book is full, with new construction sheds in Ameglia and La Spezia under development to satisfy fast growing demand for these precious floating creations.

The Order of Merit for Labour was founded as national order of chivalry in 1923 by King Vittorio Emanuele III of Italy, it is awarded to those “who have been singularly meritorious” in areas including industry and commerce. Bravo!
