Sanlorenzo’s SD Range Welcomes a New Flagship SD132

Sanlorenzo has announced the launch of its latest yacht, the SD132, the new flagship of the semi-displacement line. At 40.7 metres in length, the SD132 is also the largest composite-built yacht ever crafted by Sanlorenzo. Building upon the legacy of its predecessors—such as the SD90, SD96, and SD118—the SD132 raises the bar even further in terms of innovation, design, and onboard liveability.

Unmatched Space and a Seamless Connection to the Sea

The SD132 is a masterclass in maximising space and enhancing the onboard connection to the surrounding marine environment. Boasting 420 gross tonnes, the yacht stands out among vessels of similar size, offering remarkable volumes and innovative layouts. A standout feature of the SD132 is its expansive beach area, which is seamlessly connected with the aft cockpit. When the lateral terraces are opened, guests are treated to a vast, walkable surface spanning 70 square metres. This design removes visual barriers, transforming the cockpit into an open terrace that allows an uninterrupted connection to the sea.

Adding to its allure is the 85-square-metre flybridge, which provides abundant space for relaxation and entertainment. The forward living area is equipped with a crystal-clear mini pool featuring a sunbathing system, connecting the forward section with the main deck for easy flow between spaces. The SD132’s innovative side garage, capable of accommodating a 6.25-metre tender, and an additional forward hangar for toys or rescue boats, are typically features found on much larger vessels. These storage solutions provide unmatched versatility, further enhancing the yacht’s customisation options.

Asymmetric Design: A Sanlorenzo Signature

Designed by Zuccon International Project, the SD132 features Sanlorenzo’s pioneering asymmetric layout. The main deck walkway is on the port side, while the upper deck walkway is on the starboard side. This innovative configuration optimises onboard space, enhances circulation between decks, and ensures a seamless flow throughout the yacht.

The SD132 has four spacious guest staterooms on the lower deck, complemented by a well-appointed crew area with a dinette and laundry facilities. The owner’s suite, located on the main deck, spans 55 square metres and offers ultimate privacy, complete with luxurious details. The main saloon features expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, while a secondary saloon on the upper deck offers an additional haven for relaxation.

Interior design: Inspired by Nature

The collaboration between Sanlorenzo and Zuccon International Project extends to the interior design, which reflects a deep connection to nature. Inspired by earth tones and natural materials, the interiors create an authentic, sensory experience. From soft, tactile finishes like stone-textured cement to the juxtaposition of dark and light woods, every element is carefully curated to evoke a warm and welcoming ambience.
